Self Assessment
Context – Good – I understood as a whole what this project entailed and to an extent what I needed to do to achieve the aims of the project.
Research – Satisfactory – I gathered and developed lots of ideas and information throughout this project, especially in the jazz section. However I did a poor job at documenting these ideas and the development of them, something that definitely needs improving.
Problem Solving – Good – I demonstrated my initiative well this project as far as solving problems is concerned. I adapted to different problems and challenges I faced throughout the project.
Planning and Production – Satisfactory – My planning for this project was okay. The jazz section of this project was planned and executed very well with a set rehearsal time scale and goals I needed to achieve within that time frame. However with the other aspects to this project haven’t been planned well at all, once again another thing I need to seriously work on.
Practical skills – Excellent – I think my practical skills were excellent, piano is my strongest instrument and playing it is one of my biggest passions and I delivered some good performances and rehearsals.
Evaluation and Reflection – Good – I believe my evaluation and reflection for this project was good. I covered all of the good and the bad aspects to this past project and I clearly illustrated my thoughts and feelings on how things went.
Presentation – Satisfactory – My documentation for this project has once again been quite poor. It is a part of my work that needs seriously improving, especially for my final project.
