TUTOR FEEDBACK:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once my assessment was done, my tutors said that I did an excellent job. They said that my colour depth in the eyes was very good and that they were glad I took on board the advice in making the lower lashes big and eccentric. The critiques were very small, fixing up where my model’s piercings had slightly smudged the lip gloss and darkening the brows to frame the face more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PERSONAL REFLECTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think my assessment went better than I thought it would. I was very happy with the look overall and I was particularly pleased with how well the eye makeup turned out. I was really glad that I thought of the mirror prop as opposed to a potion bottle because it created more opportunities for unique camera angles that I had not had in my work before. I think that these new camera angles conveyed my character’s personality very well and I liked the idea of my model wearing gloves because it added an industrial vibe to my look overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I were to do this look again I think the only thing I would change is the eye makeup, I would consider adding a small false lash on the top lash line. However if I were to have done this in my assessment my model’s eye makeup would most likely be less visible because my model only had a small amount of space between their eyes and eyebrows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I did very well in this assessment and in my final major project overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPECIFIC:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a wider range of models (gender, face shape, skin tone, hair types ect)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEASURABLE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This could be measured by creating lots of different portfolio looks in different parts of the industry (editorial, bridal, fashion etc)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ATTAINABLE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This could be achieved as I grow my confidence in approaching people that could be models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RELEVANT:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is very relevant as a student because a more diverse portfolio would make me more employable in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIME BASED:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
