Reflection And Evaluation:

TUTOR/STUDENT FEEDBACK:

My makeup tutor wasn’t at this event so I couldn’t get any particular points for improvements from a professional point of view. The tutor that was available said that it definitely looked like a cat. A level 3 makeup student and my model also said that my makeup was good.

PERSONAL REFLECTION:

Overall I didn’t like how my look turned out. I thought that the liner was uneven and some of the black sponge marks were too thick. I didn’t like how cramped the environment was either, it was too loud and hot and I think these factors definitely affected my performance. In the future I would prefer to not work in crowd rooms- I am glad that the Nightmare On Elm Street makeup will be done in the studio because it is more spacious, safe and everyone has an appropriate amount of workspace. If I were to re do this look, I would make sure I get the eye makeup is completely even. I also think that I could have done makeup on the hands in some way to make them look more feline.

SMART TARGET: In the future, I will ask more about the workspace if we are working outside of the studio so that I can prepare more.
