This is the final face chart I designed based of all my reference images and previous research. I think that I captured the theme of Neapolitan ice cream very well.
Problem Solving: I created a second idea where the dots were all the same size but in lots of different places. I thought that making the dots the same size would make doing the look easier but it ended up backfiring because if I would have chosen this look it wouldn’t fit the theme as much
I asked my tutor for her opinion on this design, she said that my original design was a lot better and I agreed. I wanted to see if I could create something better but my original design was better so I decided to stick with that.

Planning And Production:
PRODUCTS I WILL USE:
(Borrowed from college)
. Hair Curlers
. Heat Protection Spray
. Hair bobbles
. Hair pins
(In my kit)
. Creme Foundation, Concealer and Contour
. Blush
. Hair brushes
. Hair Spray
. Face Paint
. Lip Gloss
To start, I will prep the skin with cleanser, toner and moisturiser.
I will then add a base of crème foundation, crème bronzer and blush. I didn’t use translucent powder because I find that it looks cakey on camera.
Then I will use a tool to map out the basic shape where the face paint dots will sit using white face paint.
Afterwards, I will use a q-tip and the bottom of a paint brush to add the pink, yellow and brown face paint dots; starting the largest, outer most dot and working inwards to the smaller dots closer to the inner corner of the eye.
I will then use another q-tip and water to clean the excess white face paint and add more makeup where needed.
For hair, I will first put the hair into two high ponytails with loose pieces at the front.
Then I will curl the ponytails and front pieces using a curler, being sure to add heat protection spray beforehand.
To finish, I will wrap a section of the hair around the ponytails to hide the bobbles, add the hair clip and smooth down any fly-aways with hairspray.
