The roles to support a production is :
- Director
The directors main responsibilities is, analyzing the scripts because they need to understand the themes and characters also the message behind it. They also need to develop a vision by choosing a overall style and the tone of the play. Next the director has to work close with the set designers, costume designers but also the sound and tech team. Finally the MAIN thing is the CAST.
2. Assistant director
They do the same sort of what the director does. They need to read and study the play, the talk about the ideas with the director so they have a insight of what they need to do is well. Next they need to attended the production meetings, incase the director is not there for the meetings. Also the main thing is well is to COMMUNICATE with the cast members. This is so they can give feedback to the directors. Finally if the director is busy doing the lib in rehearsal and they can not be able to do other things like making a schedule or replying to peoples messages they will be able to do that if needed.
3. Choreographer
The choreographer is to make dances with the type of style the music is, so it can show the type of style for the production. Then they have to read through the script so they can help make the ideas of the dance sequences. Transitions into the next scene is important so the choreographer will be easy for the next actors or dancers to come back on to the next scene.
4. Dance captain
A dance captain is someone who is in ensemble, where the director who think that certian ensemble dancer would be suitable to help other dancers when the choreographer is busy. Also it can be used to help the choreographer when they are not there and it is just the acting director then the dance captain can help if needed when it comes to dancing.
5. Set designer
Firstly they have to work with the director to create a concept of ideas to know what to build on stage within the production. The ideas at the beginning are just rough ideas on what to do for the play and figure it out from there. You have to lead a team to give a helping hand and they all have to be given there own individual job to make the set be quick and easy. Finally you have to work around the stage so nothing bad happens to the cast members.
6. Costume designer
You have to read through the whole entire script to make marking and notes on areas to help affect the costume for each character. Next you have to research the time period and the setting of the play.
7. Musical director
They have to be in creative team meetings with the director and choreographer. To develop the overall vision of the show. Next they have to do the same things as the director and choreographer witch is to study the script. When it comes to singing rehearsals you have to lead regular warm up that the cast members knows what to do.
8. Sound and lighting
For sound you have to do a lot of pre recording so you do not have to do it all on the day before the show or on the day of the show. For sound you have to make a cue list for the actors and dancers to know what is coming next. With lighting you have to be practically aware of all the actors on stage to be having the correct amount of spotlights for each cast members. Then wright a light script by using the computer or hand- drawn diagrams to set the lighting design. Final thing be aware of budget and energy use.
9. Stage manger
First you have to set up rehearsal schedule. Next you have to manage the props within the production rehearsal. Then create a risk assessment and ensure the safety to the cast on tech rehearsal.
10. Hair and Makeup
First you have to work with the director and the costume director to understand there overall looks for the cast. Next you have to break down the script to work out the type of requirements you need for each scene for the cast. Also you have to research the historical periods if required in the play or musical. However you do need to attended fittings, photoshoots but also dress rehearsal. Finally you have to, document the final looks in pictures so these can be followed up for the rest of the team on what to do.

A poor diet can effect a performer by increasing more of injuries, it can also effect your mental health because of the way you perform as a actor or dancer. Lack of exercise can also effect you because you can get type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and finally some sort of cancer. Lack of sleep can lead to slower reactions, witch then again can increase to more risk of injuries. Next by getting not enough sleep can effect your immune system, which makes you more at risk for illnesses and means your body will not be able to build strength and stamina.

A good diet can prevent a less risk of injuries. Less risks of illnesses. Next a lot of regular exercise can help performers mentally by listening quickly and more on it at all times. Regular exercise can help the performer become more fit so they are not out of breath to come on and of stage. Regular sleeping pattern can have lower stress levels, better mood , get a better healthy weight , your immune system will be more stronger and finally you can reduce risks of accidents.
