Q1. What type of research did you carry out and why ?
What I used for my research is that I searched up, what roles are in the court so I can go into more research about it. However I did also searched up different type of courts there was.
Q2. What resources, materials and techniques have you applied and why ?
The resources I used for my research is, the police museum website to help me find out the history of the museum and how it all started. For my contextual research I used, is websites based on the court roles and why they are in the court room. When searching up various type of roles for my role ,I knew how to portray it by researching it first before performing.
How have they informed the development of your work ?
This has informed the development of my work by having the rehearsal practice with scripts and knowing what I can portray my role to be as I know how I am supposed to be.
Which elements have been the most effective ?
The elements that was most effective was having my script before researching my role on how to portray it. Then by using websites is well has been helpful for me is well so I know what everyone else’s roles is when performing.
Did you change the way you did anything ? If so, why ?
The first performance we did at the police museum I did not change my facial expressions because I was a bit nervous at first, but when it came to the rest of the performance’s I changed the way my facial expressions was, this is because I can make the audience make the defiance guilty and not “Not Guilty”.
How have your skills developed during this project ?
Since joining level 3 extended my skills have improved a lot more on my acting with the acting technique lessons it helped me improve on how my acting can be within lessons and performances.
How has the performance of others impacted on the progress of your project ?
The impact of others made the progress of our project, by having more rehearsals before our performance and make it easy for ourselves, by making this performance good we also did a lot of research on our roles to make it convincing for our audience.
Identify your strengths and explain any areas for improvement .
My strengths in this project was knowing how to portray my role in this project. However I could of express my role more convincing for the audience. Also give my self more time to learn my lines.
