Final Video:
What would I do differently/how would I approach it next time?
- Next time, I’d find a way to organise my clips better once I’ve cut them down in post, so I can find the desired recording to match with the music easier
- I’d also leave any recordings below 720p and try to find as many clips with a similar resolution to keep consistency and save time
- I’d get more comfortable with the software and find my own style of utilising it
- Check the spelling and audio of clips numerous times before exporting because their was a spelling spelling mistake in the video I didn’t notice at first, and one of the clips isn’t muted, despite it only playing for a second, you can still hear it over the intended videos audio
What did I feel was successful/what would I repeat in the future?
- I feel as though I matched the themes of the music video and song/album through the editing and effects, mirroring the hectic, wild atmosphere that the performance holds
- I’d do something similar to how I edited the music, if necessary, to create the right atmosphere and pacing for the advert
- I’d continue to analyse the band/products brand and reoccurring elements/themes/styles/symbols/fonts/logo/etc to make it unique and recognisable to that individual, and connect to their audience
