I looked at various models of reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gibbs\u2019 Reflective Cycle (1988), Kolb\u2019s Experiential Learning Cycle (1984), Rolfe et al.\u2019s Reflective Model (2001).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reading about the different types of reflection models, I was tempted to use Rolfe\u2019s reflective model, designed for quick, short weekly reflections. And Gibbs for the full reflection, as this is very structured and detailed. I don\u2019t like the idea of mixing models, as this is new to me. so I have decided to reflect using Gibbs Reflective Cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is broken down into stages: Description \u2013 What Happened, Feelings \u2013 What was I thinking and feeling, Evaluation \u2013 What was good or bad. Analysis \u2013 What did it go good or bad. Conclusion \u2013 What would I have done differently and Action Plan \u2013 What will I do next time<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
