Because of this, my performance doesn&#8217;t have much to it, and I only had a basic drum beat down. I haven&#8217;t played in a band before, so this was a new experience, which means with time I will get better at timing and dynamics as I continue with the others. I like the drum beat I use, and I used my lunch time with Marcel to create one that fit the song. This time, we can play through the whole song with a few mistakes, and the ones I made may be minor, but I can still hear them. I need to practice my fills more and I think I need to work on transitioning from the verse to chorus, and make sure that my chorus beat remains with the same amount of kicks each bar.
