My resources will be a previously cited youtube video (see proposal form) and any additional resources will be linked just after the work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems that funk bass can get a traditional feel from subdividing each beat into a further four beats, being 1\/16ths. This means for every 4 clicks in a bar, the bass will be doing extra work &#8211; the notes do not need to be too complex or busy, something simple such as two or four notes can work if there are also&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ghost notes; as stated by one of my alternate sources, ghost notes &#8220;are one way to make your line more funky as they are more\u00a0<strong>percussive<\/strong>\u00a0and enhance the\u00a0<strong>rhythmic variation<\/strong>.&#8221; (Talkingbass-Mark, 2015).
