The performance was well-played thanks to all the bands included, we had minor issues and I managed to provide an ample listening experience to the audience, with varied feedback after the gig. Considering all the support for writing an evaluation is for the bands and musicians who contributed to the performance aspect, I have relatively no idea what to say. There isn’t much help for me right now.
I was using the A&H QU-32 and properly utilized about 18 separate channels controlling sound levels of everything from vocals to specific tom drums – not only did I control the main PA, but I also was responsible for four monitors on stage, being the left, center, right, and drum monitors. Being in control of what both audience and musicians hear, I was honestly rather afraid I’d mess up. When I asked for honest feedback though (I was being annoying for the feedback), people had no issues and it wasn’t rather informative other than “yes”, “it was good” and “good job”. I really asked people to find issues and nitpicks to see what I could improve on yet nobody really gave me much.
