The name our band has collectively chosen is “Wendigo”. It’ll mainly focus on the Alternative/Rock styles of music (but primarily Alternative), and I am confident this band will succeed in putting on a convincing musical performance like the project asks of us, while also coordinating our roles for managing and putting on said event, which is a larger scale.
It is comprised of 4/8 students on the Level 3 Extended Course including myself, the other members being Aimee, Faye and Jozef. There has been clear communication and we already have begun producing a setlist (covering on a different page, WIP), and the band’s logo has already been created, which the proof of concepts and finalised product will be posted on this same page.
The logo that was created takes heavy inspiration from Until Dawn, and uses the name Wendigo because of the creatures from the game that are based off the real Native American legend. It uses a butterfly effect throughout the game to explain that the littlest change can make the biggest difference, for better or for worse. The chosen colours represent different things and the lighter one on the right side is to represent life, and the darker one is death. A butterfly effect can either allow someone to continue living or it may bring an abrupt end- it’s never for certain.
