My final look for the first project will be based around the album Brat by Charli XCX. The album has a lot of rave influences, so my look will reflect the messy, chaotic nature of rave culture and the vibrant colours often worn by rave-goers in their clothes and makeup. I want to use the iconic green (hex code #8ACE00) as the main colour. Originally I was planning on making the look monochromatic but changed my mind as I found creating an entire look with just bright green too limiting. I’ve instead decided to create an analogous look with blue, green and yellow. The look will be aimed to fit in an editorial setting, specifically the cover of a magazine like GQ or Rolling Stone as they are known for having more creative covers. I also want to take inspiration from the 90s since that’s when rave culture blew up. I also want my look to reference the ‘party girl’ aesthetic popularised by celebrities like Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton.
