Alternative means to be involved in a music genre, subculture or fashion style that differs from the norm.

Meaning of Chav

Chav means a young British person who is often loud and partakes in anti-social behaviour. The stereotypes surrounding chavs can differ based on the person’s gender.

Since me and my actor have decided that the subculture the character will be part of is emo, I’m going to research into the emo subculture, music genre and aesthetic.
