In horror stories, women are portrayed into different roles, for example, horror movies commonly contain a “final girl”. A “final girl” refers to the last woman alive at the end of the movie who survives and confronts the killer, ostensibly the one left to tell the story. The common plot line of a final girl in many horror films is that several victims are killed one-by-one by a killer , culminating in a climax in which the last surviving member of the group, usually female, either kills the killer or escapes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If not portrayed as the final girl in horror, women are also often seen as the “villain” or “killer” in horror.
