Context – Good<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Asgore’s story helped a lot with the mood I chose to compose for. I’m glad I played parts of Undertale, watched gameplay and read about the final boss before composing for the battle. I think I could have looked more at context by looking into how other soundtracks were developed, like Koji Kondo’s work on Super Mario Bros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Research – Excellent<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This term’s research seems plentiful, relevant and detailed in each project. Reviewing last term’s self assessment and amount and structure of work, I think the pages I created and topics I covered benefited me positively and enabled me to work in a more efficient way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Practical skills – Good<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t feel as though I did anything particularly impressive this term or progressed much with bass, but the quality of my performance was consistently good and I’ve applied my knowledge of the fretboard to develop ideas that I like for the band composition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Evaluation and reflection – Excellent<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though it’s less structured than last term, I feel like my evaluation and reflection for each project was fair and detailed. I think I’ll be returning to a more structured method next term, though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
