I wrote about my research on mixing and recording in detail across multiple sub-categories. Additionally, I researched the history of recorded music as it gave me an idea as to how artists used to make profit in comparison to today where everything is online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What else could I have researched?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I could have researched specific producers and their work to give me an idea of what they do as a career and I could have looked into the songwriting industry and how major artists work with songwriters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have I improved since last project on anything?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My time management and detail in my research has improved. I definitely feel this project is more organised than the last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How well did I organise my work and time?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I managed to complete all of the work I planned to so I&#8217;m happy with how I organised both my work and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Further skill development \u2013 how do I aim to do this? Why do I plan to do this?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I need to develop my mixing skills for future projects both inside and out of college as I want to record a lot more now that I know how to use Logic to a level that is efficient and I understand how to do most things that I want to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What did I enjoy about this project?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoyed the research most, I enjoyed looking into recording and mixing techniques in detail as I could actively apply my knowledge to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What did I dislike about this project?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I disliked recording as a band. I think it would be much easier to record different parts myself or record it in the way I prefer, so in the future I would definitely want to work alone or with one other person who will listen to my suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Has this project inspired me to work on recording or mixing for anything else?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project has taught me a lot about mixing and recording and as will be useful to consider for some of my final project ideas.
