I can confirm that the attached assessment is all my own work and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself and sources have been appropriately referenced.
Self Assessment
Context – Good
I think my ability to relate relevant information to the project for my own benefit has been sufficient enough to achieve a merit grade and has shown thorough understanding of everything I have covered.
Research – Good
I believe my researched aided me greatly in the completion of the social media and art side of things, as well as with each song’s feel by looking into the history of them, the bands and artists and how they were made.
Practical Skills – Excellent
I genuinely think I have progressed a lot since last year’s live performance project and it is evident here with how comfortable I look on stage and the accuracy at which I played at in reflection to how I was playing during the first few rehearsals for every song.
Evaluation and reflection – Good
My evaluations have included both positive and negative points for the group and myself with growth points and things to specifically work on noted below each video.
Planning and Production – Good
We used a Gantt chart and stuck to it with some reasonable modifications, which were documented along the way. I could have taken into account some realistic problems and considered having time for problem resolution so the initial plan was better.
Presentation – Satisfactory
While ideas were presented to the L2 and 3 groups, I could have documented that communication better and took better initiative on when the logo deadlines were for when they were needed. Presentation of ideas within the L3X group were good, communication was clear within the management team as we made sure we had means of communicating outside of college too to present ideas.
Problem solving – Excellent
As part of a group, I worked with others to solve multiple problems with timetabling and I think I noted this in my work, as we had to keep changing things on the timetable in order to stay on track. I did have to turn to tutors for help with getting tickets available, as that included something no one in the group could handle ourselves.
