Online Branding

This year I’ve been given responsibility to manage all branding and create art for any pages we can use and already have in order to promote the event. On this page I’ll show how I’ve used the art I’ve made and displayed on my art development pages for the purpose of promoting PLUGGED IN.

As of the 10th of October, this is what I have posted on the Instagram page, which is what I’m using for all of the promotion.

The structure that I wanted to follow was:

  • Ticket Release
  • L3 Band (+ photo)
  • L2 Band (+ photo)
  • Poster
  • L3 Band (+ photo)
  • L2 Band (+ photo)
  • Ticket Reminder
  • L3X Band

I’ve followed this so far besides only posting L3 to start with and planning to post L2 later on. I also want to post ticket reminders on the page’s story multiple times throughout the next week so followers are reminded, since stories don’t reach many non-followers based on the fact that people are required to visit the page to view it otherwise.

I hadn’t planned any specific dates for any of the posts, since I knew getting the videos and photos would be complicated due to our timetables in comparison to the other levels. The art was put up in accordance to tickets being available and the poster post was put up immediately after the poster was finished and printed.

I want to post both L2 bands in the following days so I’m not spamming people’s feed, then L3X mock performance on Monday as a final teaser. I need someone else to film us, or I can set up the camera in a convenient place before we play.
