While recording our band songs, we had a chance to work alone with the desk and learnt to navigate it.
All we had to do was understand which XLR cable was allocated to which channel and work based on that. In the top left, there’s a gain control with a phantom power and phase button below. The buttons in the middle left are channel selection, 1-16 and 17-22. The channel selected was the button at the top of each strip, in this photo channel 1 is selected, indicated by the green light. Within that channel is a solo button and below that is a mute button. The input dynamic control is below that and is controlled with a slider. It’s marked as dB levels so you can get an idea of how loud the audio is.
