Throughout my project, I came across many different problems, from small to large. One problem I faced during the production stage was a branding issue. I wanted the names: TranquilStudio & TranquilMedia to roll off your tongue just as TranquilSound & TranquilMedia did. I wanted to be able to combine the names wherever I needed. e.g, TranquilSound&Media. So, this is where I brought back a previous name I used, ‘TranquilProductions’, which sounds more professional and flows better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another issue I faced was that a couple of days before the filming date, we received a message from the father of the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the father of Zoha Butt-Hussain. \u00a0I have spoken to two members of staff regarding my concerns about Zoha taking part in a recording for \u201cVoices of Al Mustafa\u201d project who I believe is for a current student who needs to complete this as part of his college coursework\/assignment. \u00a0Having given it some thought, along with discussions with my wife, we don\u2019t feel very comfortable at the minute with Zoha taking part, for the following reasons:

1. The student has presented any formal\/letter or statement from his college regarding the recording of this footage. \u00a0
2. \u00a0Where will the footage be stored? \u00a0Who will this be shared with? \u00a0Who else will have access to this?

3. \u00a0With regards to the above two questions, without anything in writing with an explanation\/rationale, this does potentially cause some safeguarding issues, especially with potential e-safety.

At this moment in time, we are not comfortable with Zoha taking part in this project, unless the above can be addressed.

I had already designed a Licensing Agreement at the time, but forgot to give the father any documents for his daughter to be a part of the project. I quickly re-did the licensing agreement, got it signed by my course tutor and sent it to my teacher to get it signed by him and the student’s father. On the first day of filming, I arrived at the location to meet my teacher and the student. When arriving, I was told that the father of the student did not want his daughter to be a part of my project. Luckily, we had a contingency plan in mind. My teacher spoke to the parents of Ali Ahmed Adam Khan to star in my project and received express permission. Within 1 hour, we had started recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the filming, I also came across a few problems. The problem I had was that I did not have a very long battery on the camera to last me 2 days. Even though I had 2 batteries for each camera, my batteries were running very low. I was, however, able to keep pushing it, and luckily, I sawed through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another issue during filming was that, near the end, the SD card in the FX6 was almost full; we were in fact able to record everything we needed before the SD card and the battery either gave out or reached their maximum capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the editing phase, when I put everything into Adobe Premiere Pro, the images from both cameras did not completely match up. As I did not have time to colour grade, nor did I know how to colour grade, I decided to remove the A7S III footage from the interview segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
