Memories – techniques

I drew a reflection of myself on the computer screen. I layered coloured pencils and overlined with black pen.

I drew 4 hands that represent me and my friends as we are long distanced. The yellow colour represents happiness, that’s a feeling that my friends give me.

As I like going outside in nature, I drew some flowers and coloured them in warm colours. Warm colours represent that i feel relaxed and happy when outside. I included daffdils as we are working with Marie Curie.

I thought that wet in wet technique would be nice to represent my ‘first love’. I used warm and cold colours.

Warm – the feelings I felt when I saw him.

Cold – the first love wasn’t meant to be.

I drew myself digitally and tried to recreate Paul Robertson’s artstyle. As a background I used dark colour because that’s my favourite tone.

Me and my course tried repeating patterns. At first we cut random shapes and had to choose one we liked. I chose the one that looks like peas.

We had to choose another 2 patterns. I chose 2 random and mixed colours. I think it turned out pretty.

For this, I chose a big roll of paper and coloured all of it with charcoal. Then, I drew with a rubber. I don’t really like how it turned out as you can’t see the drawing that clear.

I tried neurographic art. It was easy. I chose bright/vibrant colours because it gives me a fun feeling.

I closed my eyes and listened to one of my favourite music, that’s Zivert – Life, and drew one line freely while listening to music. I coloured background in blue and purple colour because the song gives me sad/moody vibes.

I drew this digitally. The expression I drew in this drawing is ‘obsession’ as I can be obsessed when I draw a lot. I tried to use bright colours as I really like drawing. The drawing is inspired by Paul Robertson.

I drew a drawing of my room. I drew it in oil pastels. It’s blue because I feel bored and lonely in my room, since I don’t have any friends as I recently moved here.

I drew a self portrait as how I see myself. The first side of my face is my face and the second part are my favourite flowers. I coloured the flowers with oil pastels and everything else with coloured pencils.

In photoshop, I wrote the theme that I chose and ideas that me and my course generated. I changed fonts and sizes.

I drew my 3 emotions that I feel every day. I coloured it with oil pastels.

Happiness – yellow

Sadness – blue

Angriness – red
