Week 1
- The first page is a spider diagram where it shows different meanings of culture. I chose Latvian food because that’s what i know more about.
- I made a moodboard where it show Latvia’s most famous and traditional salty or main dishes. Some of them aren’t invented by latvians but are very popular.
- I made a second diagram where it shows Latvia’s most popular and traditional desserts.
- I researched about Latvian food. I included the time Latvians usually eat, too.
Week 2
I researched two artists.
- The first artist is Antoine Vollon. He is a french artist that paints still life paintings. I really like the style he has and want to use it in my last piece.
- The second artist is Vincent van Gogh. I chose his sketch artworks because I really like his mark makings. I use his style to ”decorate” my sketchbook.
- Then, I reasearched most popular latvian dishes. I included latvian translation to the dishes to make it more interesting.
Week 3
- I thought that to put food’s decorations and rules on the table is interesting to know. Mostly I knew about Christmas and New Year.
Week 4
- I wrote about what i had on Christmas, where Latvian food was included.
