Week 2
- This was made on the second week of this project. The technique is called inking – dipped wood stuck in ink.
Week 6
- I tried to paint with Antoine Vollon’s artstyle using his technique – glazing. It was hard, but it was for practise. I intend using his artstyle for my last piece. I drew pies stuffed with pork fat.
- I redrew it digitally too.
- I used Vinvent van Gogh’s artstyle, too, to draw rye bread. I used one of his mark making that I really like and was easy. I don’t think it looks great, but I kind of like it.
Week 7
- For my 3D art piece I used crown caps, that are merged with safety pins. And I thought since I do this project about LATVIAN food, I could make Latvia’s flag and colouring it in its colours. It took me about 3 weeks to make it.
- The first time I tried to do this piece, I used wired instead of safety pins and it was a mess.
Week 8
- I went to darkroom. I took a photo of my little brother drinking Latvia’s most famous drink ‘kefir’. I chose two photos that I really like.
