These are Album covers by rapper MF DOOM who unfortunately passed on 31st of October 2020. DOOM was an inspiration to many people with his albums which contained lots of flows and rhythms which were never really seen before. MF DOOM relates to my theme because I feel like his music has good symbolism of journey because of the mood and atmosphere they give. To me, his words themselves can take you on a journey when listening properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drawing on the bottom left is from the album madvillany which is 1 of the most influential hip hop albums to date. I simply used pencil for this drawing, I mainly worked on making sure the shapes and tone were accurate. This drawing definelty links to artist bansky as there’s lots of black and white spaces separating the black from white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drawing on the right is from another album by MF DOOM called doomsday. First, I used fineliner for the outlines, from there I decided to continue on the drawing digitally which can be seen on the top left. To get this I scanned my image onto sketch and started adding more lines, colours and shadows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my opinion the drawings came out really well and there really isn’t anything I would personally change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
