This was another artist who had art displayed in James Owen Thomas’ Gallery. I liked how her artwork was abstract and how it didnt necessarily need a meaning to it. She doesn’t relate to my art but I liked the differences and the simplicity of her work.

This gallery was next to James Owen Thomas’ so I decided to check it out and they sell posters. I took images of the poster that relate to my fashion concept to give me ideas.
Artful Art No.12
This was another gallery next to these ones and I decided to check it out.
I took flower pictures as they fit in well with my floral background concept so I decided to take some for reference.
These images all linked into how in the olden days they dressed and the little tabs next to it show their pricing and what the painting or image is about.
Library
I went to the college library and took pictures from fashion books to find what techniques I could use and what kind of style I’m looking for. Also to generate ideas for myself and find out what I want to do for my final piece.
After looking through these books I tried to grasp any ideas I could. From the outfits to the techniques. I found that i wanted to do something on frabric that made the dress shine which further led to me doing my final piece about batik and college of fabrics. Next time I could try sewing onto frabric or do different prints onto frabric instead.
