3D work

  • This was my practice cup where I wanted to work on and see what things I could do wrong or what things I could do right. I first cut the bottom part of a cup and cut out a yogurt pot for the handle. I then sew it together.
  • What I could have done better was the sewing part as the string was everywhere and made it look messy. Not to mention the cup was tiny and so I didn’t use it for final project.
  • I decided to spray paint it right away after and it made the teapot look shiny and shimmering like how I wanted it to however the cup still looked messy and you could see its ridges. Plus the string was still visible even though I spray painted it. I thought I could cover it up but it still looked messy.
  • I decided to go with my second to last design of my sketches and embedded beads and gems into it. I didn’t strictly follow my design I had made due to not having most of the materials and because I didn’t have enough.
  • It was still messy and I could have changed it and made t more looking clean. However the end product was still satisfactory and I will improve on it for my final design.

El Anatasui

This piece is mainly made from gold caps with patches of red which spill on the floor resembling blood. It’s called ‘Bleeding Takari’ which Takari is a fictional name so no one really knows what it means.
