These wiring looms are Individually hand-wired from UK-sourced genuine parts using 22 gauge Gavitt vintage cloth covered wire. A drop in replacement and a great performance and reliability upgrade for all Fender Precision type and other single pickup Basses
Top quality matched components are used throughout and the \u201cfloat wire\u201d method is adopted where all wires are pulled tight and elevated so they make no contact with the pickguard\/baseplate. It takes a little longer to build but is definitely worth the effort to maximise performance

\u2022 Matched* CTS USA Custom Audio Taper 250K Split Shaft Volume & Tone Potentiometers \u2013 smooth linear volume and tone change (no bunching or on\/off effect)
\u2022 0.022uF Sprague \u201cOrange Drop\u201d Tone Capacitor** \u2013 removes the thinness and harshness inherent with budget capacitors
\u2022 Quality Jack Socket
\u2022 Bridge earth wire supplied with heatshrink tube to twist join with exiting earth, solder and insulate
\u2022 Easy to follow colour coded wiring diagram
Fully soldered together and includes all nuts screws and washers ready to fit to your bass. Fitting requires only basic skills and 2 solder connections which are pre-tinned: Solder the black (Negative) pickup wire to the back of the Volume pot and the white (positive) wire to the colour coded terminal on the volume pot
Left hand version available at no additional cost
If fitting to another type\/make of single pickup bass it is advisable to contact me with pots spacing and jack socket placement so I can ensure your loom fits correctly
* Matched in-house to within 10 Ohms (CTS pots tolerance is +\/- 20% so a 250K pot can vary from 200-300 Ohms)

We\u2019ve produced a range of colours found on popular guitar models and used our own Strat and Tele bodies for reference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the same type of lacquer as used on vintage Fender and Gibson guitars which, over time, will produce an aged, tarnished look to your instrument. These are true lacquers, as used by top guitar makers since the 1950s. They dry very quickly and produce a hard glassy finish, unlike other \u201cpre-cat\u201d lacquers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
