Before recording a song as a band, I have learnt that it is crucial to get the song tight. this means that the recording day will go a lot quicker snd smoother than if the band had no practise. This is why we practiced as a band quite frequently before we did a recording of the song.
I think this rehearsal went pretty well because the song was getting tighter and we finally figured out the order that we’re going to record in. Despite the few mix ups of the vocals and us all going in and out of time, I definitely think that we should try to do rehearsals with a click more often.
In this practice we used a click, this turned out so much better for us than without a click, this is because we all listened to the click as well as each other which should help wit he final recording weather we do a live recording or a multi track recording which is where we all record at once.
