What was the role:
The role that i was given is the director which means My role consists of overseeing the camera angles, lights, cast, sound and editing. The job of director is a big role that is expected to show high standers of work. There was some issues i came across as a director. One issue was that we didn’t have a wall robe for inside number 9. so I had to think of ideas such as we build a box as a wardrobe but lack of time we cant. So the only desertion is to have green walls in a box formation and in editing we will add a wardrobe texture so it looks like there is a wardrobe instead of green walls
how has me researching about friends influenced everything?
By me researching about friends it influenced me and helped me think about the many camera angles though outs the 2 teams. By watching the TV shows of friends . i took some Inspiration of the set designs This influenced to me to work with the teams talking about what ideas they may have about the set designs and suggested to actually looking at the different ways they use set designs . After talking it out with both teams i then pressured the question of can we actually make it. Once they re went all of the set designs both teams made 2 simple set design.
Social issues surrounding to project?
One social Issue that was surrounding was in 2001 on September 11 when 9/11 Happen, Friends was moving on to there eighth series in the show. On the 3rd episode a whole scene needed to be re shot and re written because of what happen a character said. This made it hard for the cast because they didn’t take a break and re shot the scene when 9/11 happen. Through out the tragic time the tv show paid tribute Visually by hanging American flags . The show cast felt like they were comfort food during the time. (jeffery,2018)
