Since my aims and objectives were made for the last project idea, I can’t evaluate my work based off of those. after deciding on this new project, I did stick to my plan and recorded a whole song in a day which I think is a big achievement, even though I had to rush it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My evaluative cycle was to look at what I did well, then what I could improve on, then what I could do to make these improvements. I did this so that I would be ready to make changes each time I went back into rehearsal rooms or studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My project relates to the industry because it’s recording which is important in music today because it’s how music becomes known when not on stage and there are careers that can be made out of it. I also tried mixing, even though it doesn’t sound great. I still experimented with some guidance and got that done. Producers do this as a career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I were to redo this project I would probably change the time I spent recording and mixing and make sure I had enough for both instead of a week for each because the mixing came out a little rough but it was the best I could do within the time frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have learnt that having a relaxed mindset when it comes to recording is key because if your stressing out over everything mistakes get made and it won’t be to the best of your ability, this is something I will implement in future projects down the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bI can use this project in the future to look back on and know what I have improved on such as recording skills and mixing ideas that would help in all my future projects, reflection is key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
