I think the level 2 project in a whole went well because I did research for the song writing to come up with ideas for writing my song with Cameron (which Kai helped with) and we communicated well with one another throughout the project to make sure we knew where we were and what we needed to complete in order for the project to be done. It still needs work but we will put that work in on project 3 with recording to a metronome and mixing and mastering the tracks once they are recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ableton project went well with me completing the project in a matter of days and it sounding quite good according to Lewis. I think this is because I understood the software more this year than the last so it made it easier to write a track on Ableton with knowing where the samples were and how to download plugins. I still need to Improve on my playing capability when it comes to playing through midi because on my final track there’s a slight mistake that I didn’t notice till I exported the mp3 file onto my digital space. this could have been fixed if I would have listened to my entire track all the way through one more time before I exported the file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The logic project I didn’t do so well on due to my absences from the lessons and really bad time management which is something I need to work on. But what I do believe went well is my recording for my drum track (that I spent way to long on) with it being in time with the metronome and having some dynamic changes throughout whether they where tempo changes or volume. I also need to figure out a way to reduce my writers block when it comes to coming up with guitar and bass parts for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a whole I think the project went well with a few things that obviously need improving but overall I think I did well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
