For planning, we watched over both ‘Inside no9’ episodes. Once we discussed what happened in the episodes, we decided on choosing the characters based on our personalities so it was easier for us to get into character. For example, Ollie playing Craig as he’s really funny and always says out of pocket things and Ana playing Kevin as he’s more quiet and less rude than the others. Once we decided on the perfect characters for each other, We moved on to our scripts. The first thing we did was highlight only our lines within the script, so we wouldn’t forget who we were. Once we had all of our lines highlighted, we split the script into parts to make it easier to learn lines. One problem we had with this was absence, our whole group has not been here together to work on it, which means we always had people standing in and we couldn’t work on strengths and weaknesses we had as a group, and without people here, others couldn’t learn their lines, so we weren’t off script in time and we are very unprepared with costumes, props and production for the other group.
For production, for the other group, it was quite a challenge as they are only in a wardrobe and we can’t exactly get one into the space we have. So we had to think about greenscreen and how we can make a small green box look like a wardrobe. We had to discuss lighting elements as they were in a wardrobe and not out in places with a lot of lighting. Another thing for their production was camera angles, they aren’t out in the open so we had to figure out how were gonna get them all in the shots without getting the outside of the green box in.
