PRODUCTION ROLE

My production role for the FMP is Physical warmup. I think this is a good role for me as timing isn’t my strong spot so it motivates me to try and get to class on time so the whole group has their full warmup done.

For our warm ups. We will start off with our doctor love warm up as it worked for us the year before so we know it will warm us up and get us in the mood this time. By using Doctor love, we are raising our energy levels in a fun way, so we are less likely to give up and want to keep going. When we finish with Doctor love, we will do a small stretch session so we don’t injure ourselves when moving around.

Physical warmups are crucial before any sort of physical activity. Starting with a physical warmup helps to increase the temperature of the muscle and help with the flow of the blood. A physical warmup also decreases the risk of injuring yourself within the space. It helps relax your joints and tendons allowing you to go the full way with the activity. It allows you to release any stress and anxiety you felt built up before coming into the space. When everything is out of sight, it is also out of mind. With a good warmup you are able to give your best performance. Without a good warmup you are increasing the risk of spraints or bad performance due to poor flexibility.
