Problem solving.

During our Final major project, we had a few issues. One issue we had was the attitude from some of our peers, Some were rude to us about our ideas, some were ignorant and didn’t listen to the instructions given to them and some just did not get along. We resolved this by having everyone sit down and do team building exercises to help people get along and communicate with each other better.

Another issue was Maths and English, We had many people leave during rehearsals due to their maths and English lessons. This stained some of the scenes as not everyone was able to be in the scenes they needed to be in or some people had to step in to other characters meaning their original character wasn’t being focussed on enough. To solve this issue we split them up, People who do maths and English had their scenes focussed on the most during the little time we had with them and then when they went to maths an English we could focus on the scenes with people who do not go to maths and English. We then also started another session on Thursdays for people to attend so they could catch up.

Attendance was also an issue, Many people just didn’t turn up to rehearsals, making it very hard to move forward with the show. We dealt with this by having a meeting with everyone and letting them know that they need to start informing us of their absence and why they are absent otherwise they would be recast in the show.
