When working on this project, We encountered a few problems. One of these problems were attendance. It was rare that we had our full group to make decisions and progress with the task. However we still managed to keep everyone in the loop of what was going on even when in absence. So on the day of us performing we had everyone there to run through it and make some last minute changes.
Linking to the last problem, Communication was a slight issue between our group and the ask itself. We were asked to perform a rundown of Romeo an Juliette in the Stanislavski style of realism. We didn’t sit down to discuss what this could mean making it a bit harder when putting things together. We were going off just the little script we had which made it really hard to make it seem natural and real. We turned to Steph for help on how to make it more real and she gave us some ideas. Eventually we were able to improve on the script by simply just adding Improv to it. We made it more modern and added our ow lines and slang to make it more realistic to this day and age.
Another problem was the lack of people in our group, the script had a lot of people in and our group only had a minimal amount of people. Because we only had a small amount of people we had to come up with how to make sure all the characters are played. So we decided to have blackouts between scenes so people could change into different positions for different characters easily.
