Planning and Production

To help plan our scenes, we looked into the old 19th century case of John Jackson and his story. As a group, we worked together to dig out as much information on the case as we could. With the information we had collected, We created a short script.

As the scene was not very planned out, production was very limited. As the scene wasn’t very dramatic, We didn’t do much with the lighting and sound. One thing we could have done to make the scene better is work in a space where we had control over the sound and lighting as then we would have control over the lighting and sound to make it spookier.

Due to no budget for this project, everything was limited. We could only use props and costumes we had at the college, this made the performance difficult as some of the costumes didn’t fit the time and made it look quite unprofessional. Luckily for us, We had the makeup students helping us do our hair and makeup for the performance. This meant the makeup and hair was at a better quality as they could help us get into character properly by making us look like ghosts and dead people, this helped us portray the characters to their full potentials.
