For the research I did for the Footloose, I just watched the film and read the play, I looked at books and films on 80s, I even created a moodboard for the stuff of the 80s and had a playlist for stuff in the 80s since Footloose was set in the 80s, I even was on Pinterest looking at 80s asthestics and magazines and stuff, and I just learned a southern American accent.
For the crucible, I knew all about it already because I watched and read the Crucible, because I knew very much about Arthur Miller because of his marriage to Marilyn Monroe, and I knew very much about her. For the research, since it wasn’t the set in 1700s, it was a council estate and I watched tv shows that was set there, and looked on pintrest at Chav outfits.
