Viva Questions

1) How do you feel the performance went?
I’m not sure about the question because I wasn’t in when I performed because my mother booked a holiday to Egypt without notifying me but during the first bit of rehearsal we was “worse” according to the panel cause we wasn’t smiling but we got better and happy, and had the energy and did the stuff correctly.

2) What skills have you developed for this project?
I’m not so sure but I would say I gained an opportunity to be in production role, even though I couldn’t do the front of the house but I had the opportunity to learn about it and help plan and sit though a production meeting.

3) What were your key strengths in FMP?
I think I did my dancing well and my acting bit very well.

The still rocking dance, and singing to the words in general for some songs, I get confused and muddle up on and ramble on words a lot when I sing.

5) How effectively did you manage the overall process?
As someone who has autism and isn’t used to change, I think I handled rehearsals, the changes, and any technical difficulties we had very well.

6) Can you discuss any key research sources which have supported your process?
I would say the plays Steph showed us in class, the film, reading about the play on google, the script, and Steph telling us about productions roles and reading more about it on the internet.

I would say I did and applied my research very well and worked on my American accent very well, and did everything very well.

8) What have you learnt from this project which you will take forward on to the next step of your own personal development?
I think with this project adding that I can do a country American accent very well on my acting cv and that with this project, it has inspired me to learn more accents that I can add on my acting cv and I can practise for next year.

9) What can you do now that you couldn’t do at the start of this course?
I think I would say perform in front of a crowd

10) Why is learning important?
I think that learning is important because you gain experience and knowledge that you can tell the industry about and with this experience of doing practical work in class, it shows the industry that you can act and learning in class the stuff Steph and Jess tells us is very important for us is to prepare us for the industry and we come to the acting industry very aware and knowledge at everything that is happening.

11) How will you effectively apply this with your next project?
I think that with my next project, I will get my foot down and stand up my mum tell her not to book a holiday during a major assessment.
