Reflection of last week

This week, we found out we were doing the play called The Crucible which Arthur Miller wrote, and when I heard we were doing the play, I remember being so excitedly gutted. I was pleased we were doing a piece of serious literature for a drama play but I wasn’t so pleased that it was Arthur Miller, you could say I am his biggest hater. I hate Arthur Miller because he was the worst husband ever to exist to Marilyn Monroe.

He was verbally abusive to Marilyn, he caused her to have miscarriages. He blamed them all on her, was jealous of Marilyn Monroe’s success as an actor, and cheated on her with the ugliest woman ever to exist, but in class and in my time of social media, I hate the author, not on the story, and I thought the crucible was a great play. I remember thinking of that week filled with curiosity wondering who I was playing and wondering how we would make the play very council estate.
