This is the second run through that me and Jozef played of our duo guitar song.
This is our latest rehearsal of stand by me by oasis which we are going to be performing at the showcase.
In this walkthrough we are topping and tailing our songs and pretty much practicing how and what is going on between acts and songs that are going to be preformed.
This is the dress rehearsal before the show. We performed the whole show in front of other students from different courses within the Bradford school of art college. We do these dress rehearsals to see how the show would go in its entirety and to finalise any changes we want to make to our sets. Another thing that we benefit with by doing this is that if we make any mistakes in the moment, we can try our best to not make these same mistakes during the final performance. For example when me and Jozef finish our song and Marcel and Robert join us on stage to play our collaborative songs, Marcel said “hope you enjoyed Robert and Jozef” and then proceeded to introduce the second song first, which are common mistakes while under pressure so we needed to get used to that. When marcel introduced this song we used our problem solving skills to play that song first to keep it sounding professional and not make us look bad. After this performance we got off stage and laughed off the mistakes me made but also thought about them and then rehearse by ourselves on what we need to remember or say during the showcase that evening.
