This project has been very fun, it brought a challenge at first because we got to choose what we wanted to do for this project and seen as though we are new to music and in our first year we couldn’t decide what to do for this project because we didn’t know if we could succeed in doing something like this in the 9 weeks we would have. We (Me and Jozef) decided that we are going to make a duo guitar instrumental track that we would post to YouTube and also perform at the showcase to bring the diversity of sound to the performances. It was challenging to pick a genre to write the song in but by the end I ended up writing a song that can be played in multiple different ways to have it sounding like a few different genres.

So the song we came up with could’ve had other versions but we did not have the time nor effort to go through with this idea so we only created one full mix of this song. Overall this project has been good and we have achieved more than in any other project. It was a brand new experience working with my peers and I look forward to continuing to do so next year. Mixing with less help from the tutors was a big challenge but I got to explore and experiment w9ith sounds, tones and effects. I feel m ore confident with music and cant wait to produce and compose more music in these next two years. I have had the time of my life this year and I have made more and more progress and acquired new skills I didn’t think possible.
