At the start of project 3 I had some areas of improvement I wanted to work on during this project.
“I need to improve on my research because I need to show what or how I learnt it and I can do this by uploading anything I research onto digital space and instead of researching without the documentation on digital space to make it seem like I did not research at all.”
My research skills have not really improved from the start of this project and I think it’s because I find doing research very boring but I need to improve this for the final project. One way I could improve this is by researching stuff by watching YouTube videos about it instead of reading a lot on the subject im researching.
“I also think that even though my guitar playing skills have improved, I would really like to improve them further and further. I need to improve on my timing skills and how to play to a click. I am going to achieve this by paying more attention to my progress and dedicate a bit of time everyday just to play my guitar.”
During this project I have improved on guitar but not by a lot. This does not bother me because I am always improving and I know that I will be as good as I want to be at some point in time.
I also set myself a target I wanted to achieve by the end of project 3:
“Music Theory: I set myself this target at the start of project 2 but I only set a target to learn more chords, I think I achieved this target lat project because I did not have a specific amount I wanted to learn. But this term I would like to explore more into Music theory as a whole instead of just chords. I will work towards achieving this target in my instrumental lessons with Erik Hayes.”
I have learnt more about music theory and how chords can be played up and down the neck and still be the same notes on different frets and strings. But I am not done trying to achieve this target because I would like to learn more about music theory. So I am going to carry this target into the next project.
