performances

mock performance 1;

This was the first performance style rehearsal we did in the space that we will be performing on and we have analysed it. We, as a group, need to work on our sync and the structure of the second song (I’ll be missing you). We also need to work on our on stage communication because we need to communicate what everyone needs to do or play, for example when the song is about to finish we need to signal to each other and be ready for it. Personally i need to work on my bar chords for the second song and not missing notes on the first song. The only think i need to work on during the third and final song is the strumming pattern and the tempo. To wrinkle out my personal kinks during the performance i need to just practice these parts. We need to make the changeover between song shorter and more professionally looking. I need to be able to hear the other guitarist (Jozef) to be more in sync with him. On the third song the tone needs to be adjusted, i need a phaser effect on. The first song was just short of perfect, the only improvements that are needed are the tambourine pattern and i missed a few unnoticeable notes. Plus the ending could also do with some adjustments. The second song needs a few improvements like i need to work on my bar chords and i need to see Jozef because we both switch chords at the same time. Plus the ending needs a lot of work, the drums are constantly too fast or too slow and never in sync. The third song is perfect just needs tone adjustments like Jozef need distortion and need to be louder than me at certain points of the tune, and i need a phaser effect. And the vocals need to be louder and more projected to the back of the audience. This performance can also be enhanced by having more of an energetic stage presence, instead of all of us just standing still we could move around more and especially the singers and vocalists because they are the ones right at the front and the main people to get the audience involved and kept entertained.
