This is our performance the day of the gig (amplified) but this one was only before the students around bradford college a few hours prior to playing in front of everyone who reserved a ticket for the show.
My band (Electric Blue) comes on at 12:30 into the video and we finish out set at 25:30. first song starts at 13:30, second one starts at 17:00, and finally our last song of the dress rehearsal starts at 21:00.
We were all nervous to perform in front of others from the college but when we stepped onto the stage we all got into our places plugged in guitars and the show was off to a start. we weren’t as scared as we were backstage and we performed the first song well but we did not get the end of this first song as well as we had hoped but it did not seem to matter because the other students watching us were still clapping and showing their support. The second song was very good with the crowd because its such an iconic track and everyone knows it, the ending to that song was way better and we were all in sync. Between the second and final song i played the first 4 chords from the third song to fill in the space while everyone is moving into their new positions at their next instrument because some people played different instruments in different songs. The third song went absolutely perfect and even the ending was in sync and the best we could do. But after the third song we did not say anything we just got off stage, which we weren’t supposed to do because we were planning to say thanks but we all forgot.
