
This is my rough checklist of the types of things I need to do. I will need to sort most of these things out ahead of time. The venue and tickets are the ones I need to sort out the soonest because without a venue, i can’t host an event and without tickets, I cannot keep a rough track of how many people are going to come and also enforce capacity restrictions.
Catering, stage management and bands are all going to differ comparing venues because smaller venues will have more acoustic gigs and big venues are going to have more bands to complete the live music scene as it would be in other venues and events.
The stage will also depend on the venue because if it’s a small venue then the stage will have to fit and we will have to bring enough equipment to make the event enjoyable but also keep it to a reasonable amount so that the stage isn’t packed with equipment, not leaving any room for the bands and performers.
