25/4/23 – I am currently halfway through filming and have started the editing process. I am using songs and sound effects from You tube and go sounds.
4/05/23 – I have finished filming all of my scenes and all I need to do now is edit. I have sound effects to add in, subtitles and put all the clips together so it matches with my script. I am using Filmora to edit my film because I can use it at home and I find it easier than Adobe after effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
The sound effects from pixabay are free to use and I can download them and easily add them to my film. I have downloaded zombie snarling sounds, knife slashing sounds, heartbeat pulsing and tension music.
For the subtitles Filmora makes it very easy for me to add them and I can change the colour and font to match my film. Because most of my film will be in black and white I went with yellow for the subtitles because they match the film and they stand out.
This editing app also has many filters that I can put over scenes very easily. For scenes I accidentally didn’t film in black and white I can add a filter. Then for the more cinematic look I added the cinema 21:9 filter so it looks like a movie.
7/05/23 – The deadline is very close and I am very close to finishing the film. Because of the weather I have not been able to film my landscape scene outdoors which need to be filmed. It is a scene I’d like to add because I like the cinematic look and it’ll make the ending of my film a lot better. Once I have filmed that scene the film will be done and I will be ready to present my film to the class and possibly submit it to the film showcasing.
However, I don’t think the rain will stop so I will have to film outside and hope my camera doesn’t get damaged.
10/05/23 – Filming is complete and I managed to film the outside scene in Ogden water, which is the last scene in my film. The weather was not as bad so the scene is filmed and that is the end of filming.
12/05/23 – I am currently finishing off research and editing at home on Filmora. I need to write more about directors I’m looking at in my. research and what films that I’ve used for inspiration.
14/05/23 – It is very close to the deadline but I have messed up with my editing. Since I decided to edit at home on Filmora, I went to export the film and I realised I have to pay for the full version to be able to export it without a giant watermark over my entire film. I’ve made the decision to edit it all at college tomorrow again and get it done without the watermark.
15/05/23 – Today I spent the entire day editing on Premiere Pro and I have successfully edited the entire film. All I’m doing now is uploading it to YouTube since I have exported it to my desktop
19/05/23 – I have spent the last week adding more things to my research and pre-production. The film is done and I am very happy about that.
22/05/23 -I have completed the Viva Voce and it has been added to the evaluation.

24/05/23 – I have been adding more to my FMP on all tasks and brushing over to make sure I have added enough.
26/05/23 – The last day and the deadline for my project. I am going through all of my tasks and making sure I have enough information for all of them.
