I think my performance was successful because I hit the notes correctly and didn&#8217;t go out of time. However, it wasn&#8217;t successful due to the speed of my performance. I could improve my muscle memory by practicing more than I usually do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-wp-interactive=\"core\/file\" class=\"wp-block-file\"><object data-wp-bind--hidden=\"!state.hasPdfPreview\" hidden class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" data=\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10668720\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/555\/2023\/10\/Samuel-Jones-Initial-Assessment.pdf\" type=\"application\/pdf\" style=\"width:100%;height:600px\" aria-label=\"Embed of Samuel-Jones-Initial-Assessment.\"><\/object><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-e5fb4d29-d0fc-44d3-9881-17aaad6fd21f\" href=\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10668720\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/555\/2023\/10\/Samuel-Jones-Initial-Assessment.pdf\">Samuel-Jones-Initial-Assessment<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10668720\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/555\/2023\/10\/Samuel-Jones-Initial-Assessment.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-e5fb4d29-d0fc-44d3-9881-17aaad6fd21f\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Get better at playing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specific<\/strong>:To improve my guitar skills I will get better with timing, speed and Fluency, The biggest problem I have with playing songs is slow chord progression so it is very important to improve my speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Measurable<\/strong>:To know its better I will make sure to record myself often to show improvement over time, making sure to describe what I&#8217;m doing in more detail so it is very clear how I improved and comparing it to old recordings of me playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Achievable<\/strong>:By recording my progress and skill I will show that I can do it and have done it through my recordings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Relevant<\/strong>:I believe it is very important to get better at something and really push the limits of my ability, even when a guitar player is considered good I believe they should be always trying to get better at playing, this is something I have always aimed to do and will continue to be as it is relevant to my course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time-bound<\/strong>:I will complete my target by the beginning of next year, the reason that I am giving myself that much time is because I will practice often to make sure that I get it right, I believe the more practice I have the better I will be and I hope with that much practice over that much time I will improve much better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add more detail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specific<\/strong>:To improve my evaluation I will put more information about the recordings and will be more descriptive with my work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Measurable<\/strong>:To know its better I will aim to make paragraphs rather than a few sentences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Achievable<\/strong>:This will guarantee that my evaluations are more detailed through adding more information rather than a bit of information through sentences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Relevant<\/strong>:This will guarantee my work will get a better grade through evaluation, by adding more information I will meet the expectation of an in depth and understandable amount of information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time-Bound<\/strong>:I will complete my target at the end of the year, the reason I am giving myself that much time is because I want to make sure I have completed my task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Play more confidently<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific:To improve my practical skills I think it is important to be confident when playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Measurable:To know I have gotten better I will be sure just practice more and more until I am confident with the piece I am playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Achievable:This will guarantee that I will improve because the more confident I am the better I will play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Relevant:This will help me get a better grade for my practical skill, by being more secure with what I play I will come across as more prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Time-Bound:I will make sure to complete this target by the beginning of my next target.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For my initial assessment I chose the song I can&#8217;t explain by The Who, I have long enjoyed this song and simply wanted to play it.
