{"id":298,"date":"2023-11-27T10:44:07","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T10:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10668720\/?page_id=298"},"modified":"2023-12-13T15:21:37","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T15:21:37","slug":"final-song-and-evaluation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10668720\/final-song-and-evaluation\/","title":{"rendered":"Final Song and Evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Song<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10668720\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/555\/2023\/12\/Sweet_Green_Demo-1.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Song Evaluation <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I used BandLab and I believe I used the software effectively making sure my song had structure and purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recording for my song is good, could\u2019ve been worse but certainly could have been better.you can hear the chorus vocals just fine but when the verse vocals begin there is a slight echo through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I planned the song structure before I began my project,I\u2019ve always believed the structure is the most important part of the song.I went for a simple but effective structure of ABAB, while this is a very simple structure the lyrics and chord progression makes my song feel unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted the theme to have a dark story behind a beautiful chord progression and vocals,my inspiration was The Bends by Radiohead and Beetlebum by blur.My lyrics could have been a bit more subtle but I had written them to work well for my song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have made a sleeve design for my song using photoshop and the smoking shelter outside of my building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used a drum machine and electric guitar for my song I originally was going to include a bass.But the bass didn\u2019t really add anything to my song so I removed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I really think the drum machine added a lot to my song.From the way the beginning opens up with the drums and then leads into the verse and blends in well with the guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To perform the song live I would need to use an electric guitar and backing drums.Both need to be over my vocals while performing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Final Song Song Evaluation I used BandLab and I believe I used the software effectively making sure my song had structure and purpose.
