Health And Safety

Safety Hazards During Live Performances

Noise Levels:You must make sure to check the noise levels of the amps and speakers so they aren’t to high,If they were too high that would produce feedback from the microphones and instruments which could greatly damaged not only the audience but also the band themselves.

Crowd Safety:If too many tickets are sold it could create an oversold show which can lead to crowd crushing, this can create a very stressful environment for the crowd.

Electrical safety:Always use a trip device such as an RCD breaker and ensure you never draw more than the amount of current allowed from mains outlets.

Equipment failure:When setting up the equipment make sure there are no faults with any of the equipment otherwise this could result in higher repair costs, production downtime, health and safety for workers and affect production and delivery of services.

Weather (outdoor venues):Bad weather such as rain can affect equipment on stage like wires or instruments which could be harmful to the crowd or performers.

Working at heights:Always be careful when working from heights as you could fall which could result in dangerous accidents for everyone involved.
